I'm not a big vampire fan, but I am a fan of Brae's books, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that Brae has his own version of what it means to be 'undead'. I really enjoyed reading this book, and was a bit unhappy when I realized I only had a few pages left. I am looking forward to the next one!

I loved Brae Wyckoff's first book, The Orb of Truth, and I am thrilled that each book that follows has been even better than the last! The Vampire Kings brings back the characters that I love and adds new ones that are rich in depth; deviously delicious and rather delightful. This book starts out big and stays strong throughout, taking the reader on a fraught-filled adventure that intensifies and builds right through to the end. I highly recommend this third book in The Horn King Series and I look forward to the next installment!
I really enjoyed the first two books in the Horn King Series, and this one did not disappoint!

I love how he brings these wonderful fictitious characters to life! Following them through their adventures draws you into a fantastic world of vampires, dragons, and other creatures.

The Vampire King by Brae Wyckoff is amazing. This entire series is Christian fantasy at it's very finest. In preparation for reading this book, I re-read the first two books in the series and I definitely recommend this process to you. It all just flowed so smoothly together. There are a tremendous amount of very well written, well rounded characters in this series and they all play such intricate parts in the story line. I love how each set of characters has their own quests and tasks to perform, and these tasks then funnel them all into the amazing conclusion. Jack is still, by far, my favorite character, so this particular adventure was a real joy for me. I am pleased with the way these story lines, although fantasy, can bring me to a greater understanding of myself and my relationship to my God. Adventures in faith.
Once again Brae Wyckoff has delved into the realm of the Horn Kings and crafted a magical mystery. Replete with dragons, vampires, goblins, and Ordakians the journey is equally exciting as the previous two in the series. While not a stand alone novel, it is a great addition to an already existing world that has been masterfully developed from start to envisioned finish. The characters are some of the most genuine and lovable to come about in the fantasy genre in some time, and are well worth investing in. Even when you think you know where the author is taking a character, he surprises you and develops a tantalizing twist of fate that may lead the character into a different spectrum altogether. When it comes to story telling, plot development, and character craft Brae Wyckoff has a solid lock on his talent. Eagerly anticipating the next tale in the series.
"It is time!" The third installment to the Horn King series is here, and just as the last two it doesn't disappoint. Once again we are travelling with our dear and closest friends in Ruauck-El right where book two (The Dragon God) left off. We journey with them as they each take on new callings that may not always be together. With each passing day we watch them grow. Sometimes through pain, other times joy, even loneliness. We walk with them through all of this marveling at the person they are on their way to becoming and wondering where they will go next. They are not perfect but is that true for anyone? The more I read of them the more I feel as though they are my family. I feel what they feel and I grow to love them more with each page. My favorite character has changed so many times I am honestly unsure that i could just pick pne anymore. This is always a series I will love. Not many authours can deliver this type of story again and again. Wyckoff is a truly amazing storyteller and I honestly never want this story to end! I can't wait for the next adventure. I want to see what my family has been up to again.
